Hint was founded in 1992 as a consulting company in Hattem (near Zwolle) in The Netherlands. In 1998 Hint started Analyzer, Metering and Loading Management systems integration activities in the Oil & Gas, Petro (chemical) and Process Industries. Clients include both National and International Companies. Our prime focus is Europe, Middle East and Americas. Due to our increased international activities and growth we are looking for a qualified individual who wants to work in an international and multi-disciplinary environment and is willing to travel frequently. Profile
We offer you a big opportunity to work on your career with an international company. You will be involved in many aspects of system/server based projects from the stage of business development, project engineering and implementation, FAT, SAT, start-up and commissioning and maintenance & support in a wide variety of metering and automation applications. You are familiar with principals of designing, implementing, testing, maintaining of software, algorithms and design patterns, Fault diagnosis and rectification, Inspection, Testing and commissioning, Systems design as well as Health and safety principals. Depending on the size of projects you either work independently or in a team. We serve our customers internationally, and seek a new colleague to strengthen our team and be based in Hattem, The Netherlands.

Functional Responsibilities
• Development of new software (web applications with the latest technologies)
• Modification and/or upgrading of existing software (mainly web applications)
• Preparation of specifications (functional/technical)
• Testing software applications
• Implementing and configuring applications
• Communicating and visiting client’s offices and worksites worldwide
• Inventory of processes
• Analysing / correcting / reporting data

Requirements/Qualifications
• Experience with C#, Java, JQuery and object orientated designing.
• Experience with ASP.NET, Spring.Net, Nhibernate and Knockout.JS
• Working with .net, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases.
• Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Serial,
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and models.
• Excellent working knowledge of the English language both written and verbal
• Bachelor or Master’s in relevant field of expertise required for this position.
• Must be able and willing to travel worldwide and adapt to a work schedule that coincides with our customer needs.
• Ability to work with plant engineers, external vendors, operators and management to manage projects and assignments is essential.
• Motivated, Self-Starting, Creative thinking skills, detail-oriented personality
• Broad interest and affinity in technology and multi-disciplinary engineering.
