Introducing Humberto Ribera – Business Development Manager


Profile and Experiences
Humberto is the Business Development Manager for Hint Americas. He comes originally from Bolivia and lives in Houston, Texas since 2005. For over 18 years he has been involved in Oil & Gas in various roles ranging from HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) to Sales, Marketing, Business Development and running a consulting practice. His technical sales experience in North and Latin America includes projects in electronic security, seismic acquisition in oil and gas exploration and acoustic mitigation for midstream and downstream projects. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese with a Bachelors of Architecture, graduate studies in Environmental Engineering and an MBA.

His activities for Hint
Humberto will be responsible for the following activities/tasks.

– Responsible for keeping good relations with our customers and contacts
– Stay updated on current and new projects
– Establish new relationships to expand business opportunities for Hint in North America and Latin America
– Visit (potential) clients and present Hint’s services and solutions
– Prepare and present workshops/seminars/presentations for clients
– Responsible for market and product business development and sales of Hint’s services and solutions of Analyzer Management, Metering and Loading (AML), Process Control & Automation (PCA) and Online Predictive Maintenance (OPM), hardware and software in North America and Latin America
– Ensure that the overall functional and technical design meets client requirements
– Translate client’s functional requirements into Hint’s services and solutions or visa/versa
– Meet with client teams and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress
– Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained according to international standards, company code and quality standards
– Business Development Management, responsible for the overall targets and managing all partnerships and agents ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
